Grapefruits are a citrus fruit that grows on trees and originated in Barbados, when a pomelo and an orange were cross bred. They can be either sweet or sour but definitely juicy, depending on the type. whether it's eaten like an orange by peeling the skin and then eating the slices individually, cut in half and maybe sprinkle a little sugar on it, or poured into a glass, grapefruits are a healthy source of fiber and vitamins. They also make a very pretty ornament to hang on your tree!
