Chef's Hat Ornament

An Old World Christmas glass ornament. Most professions have a uniform that is associated with them. A tall white puffy hat is usually associated with being a chef, along with a white double breasted jacket. The "toque", or tall white hat worn by chefs, originated in the 16th century when chefs, like any creative person, had to hide in monasteries to avoid persecution for being creative! This toque ornament would make a fantastic gift for the chef, cook, or baker in the family.
